Rosco the WONDERFUL! Rosco is a gorgeous dachshund mix who is 2 years old and weighs 32 pounds. This extremely well mannered dog is looking for his forever home!

Rosco is a very smart boy and he is so well mannered. He has not been tested with kitties but he would do well in a home with other dogs. Rosco loves to go for walks and enjoys special hellos with other doggies he meets on his walkabouts. A smart, well mannered boy, Rosco stays right beside his foster mom when he walks and doesn’t pull on his leash. Rosco would love to be in a family home and would do well with children 8 years of age and older.

Rosco is a submissive guy and doesn’t play with ball. He really enjoys cuddles with his doxie foster sisters and likes to take naps with them. He enjoys playing ‘chase’ with his doxie foster sisters and is a very quick learner. Rosco sleeps in his crate in his Georgia foster home and is well crate trained. Rosco knows basic commands and will sit when instructed.

Rosco is house trained. Like all dachshunds he will need to be confident in their environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience is important. Rosco is very afraid of a crate, as we think that is likely where he lived his life prior to being rescued.

Rosco is a very smart, loving little boy who is looking for a forever home that will treasure him. Are you going to be the lucky one to call him family?
