My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Roxy and I came all the way from Texas, living in a high kill shelter, to Wisconsin to find a furever home. They say I am a Pittie mix, but as you can tell by my eyes I have other breeds mixed in. Only certain breeds can throw two different colored eyes and pit bull isn’t one of them.

According to an ancient Native American legend dogs who have two different colored eyes were known as having” ghost eyes” because they were capable of seeing simultaneously heaven with the blue eye and earth with the brown eye.

They think that I am about 4 years old. I don’t remember, but that sounds about right. I love people more than anything. I’m OK with other dogs, but I prefer just cuddling with my people. I don’t think I’m your running sort, but I would love to go on walks with you as soon as it gets warmer. I hate the cold. My favorite place would be in your house where it is nice and warm. I have a very calm demeanor and when I look at you, I’m sure your heart will melt just like my foster mom and dad.

I am housebroke as long as you show me where I’m supposed to go. I am UTD on all my shots, microchipped, heartworm negative tested, dewormed and spayed.
