My story

⭐️Reintroducing Poppy! ⭐️

Miss Poppy was left in a Rubbermaid tote at a shelter with her nine siblings at five weeks. Her life, thus far, has consisted mostly of interaction with a handful of caretakers. We were lucky enough to get Poppy and her sister, Lucy ( Adopted-now Carly Rose) at eight months old just prior to their euthanasia. Poppy has had some struggles since arriving to Wisconsin. She's a shy girl that needs patience and a loving yet firm owner. Her foster mom, who is also a wonderful dog trainer, has helped her build confidence and work on socialization. Poppy is still learning that people and her environment are safe. She loves her housemate dog "siblings.” (Small and large) Other great things about this sweet girl include:
-potty trained
-crate trained
-learning basic commands
-low grooming maintenance

She has made huge strides since being with her foster Mom, Mydiek, and we are all so proud of her! She is now ready to move on to her forever home. Once Poppy knows you're in it for the long haul, she will love you for life! ❤️

Since Poppy enjoys the company of other dogs so much we would love for her to go to a home with a companion dog. Small children make her nervous, so she would do best in a kid free home.
