Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This cutie is Roxy! She appears to be a Dachshund / JRT mix. She's around 2 years old and about 20 pounds. Despite being a stray for who knows how long and even being shot with a bb at some point, she loves people! She NEEDS to give kisses! She is a silly, energetic girl that needs someone to love and be patient with her.

Roxy really enjoys playing with other dogs both big and small. She does get grouchy with her chew toys, treats, and food so she needs to be supervised with all of those if other dogs are around. We also think she would do fine as an only dog. She would enjoy getting all the human attention for herself! She gets very excited at times so she needs a household with no small children.

She has mastered house training in her short time out of the shelter and never has accidents anymore! She also does well being crated if necessary.

Though she is very energetic at times, as long as she gets a chance to get her energy out, she is a great napper and snoozer in general. She has been sleeping through the night in her doggie bed like a pro.

Roxy is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations,
tested negative for heartworms and microchipped. She is being fostered near Huntsville, Alabama and ready to find her forever home!
