Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Buddy, I’m 9 years old, but my foster parents say I have the enthusiasm of a puppy! I can barely contain my excitement when my foster dad gets the leashes out to walk us in the morning; I just sit and wag my tail like crazy. I even give him an occasional happy grunt to remind him that I REALLY love my walks! And it’s a good thing I like exercise, because I’ve been trying to lose some of my extra weight. I know I pull a little on the leash, especially if I smell something new, but my foster dad manages to walk me AND three other Britts, so I can’t be too bad! I think I’d learn to walk really well on a leash with a little training...I’m very eager to please!
Ever since I got to my foster home I’ve been smiling and I haven’t stopped yet. I love everything! People, dogs, kids, food, walks, treats, more food...everything! I haven’t learned how to play yet, but I love it when people try...in fact, I love ANY attention I get! I usually come back when someone calls for me...unless there is something I really need to check out first. I like being in the middle of whatever’s going on, especially if it means someone might rub my belly for a while! If you think you’d like a big cuddly friend like me, please apply to adopt me at www.americanbrittanyrescue.org!!!
Note from Buddy’s foster parents: Buddy is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm/ lyme negative, and microchipped. He has no known medical problems. He has a ton of energy and is very social with people and other dogs. We’ve never seen a happier dog. He’s very well-behaved and responds well to re-direction. Buddy would be happiest in a home where he’ll get a lot of exercise and a lot of attention. He will let you know every day how much he appreciates both of those! He would love to have another dog in the home to play with also.
