Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Princess is a 9-10 year old pure-bred Rat Terrier, but you’d never know it; she has the spunk of a puppy! When she was found wandering the streets of Chisholm a few years ago, she had a mouth full of rotting teeth. After extensive dental work she was left with four. She also has a cataract on her right eye, but it doesn’t slow her down a bit! She loves soft food, of course, but can eat dry food if the pieces are small enough. At times when you go to pet her, she may cower, but she’s not aggressive at all. This may stem from her loss of eyesight. Princess has been on foster since coming to the shelter, but health reasons prevent her foster mom from continuing to care for her.
She is very sweet; she loves to have her belly rubbed, and that tail of hers never stops wagging. She loves people and kids. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She’ll be happy to see you when you come home and will ask for attention.

Grooming is minimal; a bath now and then and her nails trimmed (she doesn’t like it, but will tolerate having them done). She will go to the door when she wants to go potty, but doesn’t bark. She is also pee-pad trained.

She’s looking for that special someone that will look past her age and limited eyesight and give her that loving lap to call her own.
