My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Checkers-Bassett Hound male, ~ 1-2 yr. (March 2019)
Checkers was found as a stray in a small rural community. He was taken to a high kill rural shelter where the Staff asked the Rescue to help Checkers find a new home. He's a real gentle man, now in a foster home. Seems to want to be friends with the other dogs and not interested in the cats. Checkers is ready for a 2nd chance, a new start with a new family. His adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
