Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maria is a female Rat-Cha, which is a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua blend. See was born on 12/5/18 in a high kill shelter with very little chance of survival due to the high number of unwanted animals in the South. Luckily, when she was 9 weeks old, rescue stepped in and saved Maria and her 4 siblings. Maria is the tiniest puppy in the litter currently weighing just 5lbs and shouldn't be more than 8lbs when fully grown (estimate). She is the only tri-colored puppy in the litter. She may be small but she can get feisty when her siblings are wrestling her or stepping on her and is often the winner! In fact, she demands being held first when its visiting or feeding time. I am sure being the smallest in the litter, she had to make up her size in her diva attitude. The whole is litter is low shedding and they are active running around but the moment you pick them up, they snuggle and give sweet kisses. Maria LOVES to be held. They will be completely vetted as of 3/15/18; altered, rabies/puppy shots, bordatella and dewormed. Maria is very nice but may not be the best breed around small children because of puppy toenails scratching when jumping up for attention . Of course, Maria is still a very young puppy and will settle down as she gets older and in a routine. Maria and her siblings are normally kept in an outside kennel with a grassy area that they use for potty time. They have been inside and used a potty pad during inclement weather. Maria loves to play, inside or outside and loves squeaky toys!!! Look for the red squeaky toy in her mouth in a picture. If you are looking for a great companion in a small size then Maria is for you!!!
