RIVER is a sweet and delightful little treasure of a pup. He is the perfect mix of cuddle and play. He loves romping around the backyard with his doggie friends and playing with any one of his countless toys. Luckily, in his foster home, RIVER is getting the socialization that is immeasurably valuable at this crucial developmental stage. When he is tired, he likes nothing more than to curl up on the couch next to his foster mom for some snuggling, then a nap. He is a friendly and outgoing puppy who is ready to take on the world. RIVER is eager to please and with his alert, inquisitive nature, he will be a blast to train. At 10 weeks old, as of 2/25/19, RIVER is way ahead of the potty training curve for pups his age. If you are looking for an adorable and sweet family member with a big personality, RIVER is your boy!

RIVER is, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
His $490 adoption fee includes his interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the New England area after he is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and our own private transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
