My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roo is a 1-2 year old neutered male Black lab mix, and he’s about 54 pounds. Roo is great with people and dogs of all sizes, he is crate trained and house broken. Roo thinks kids are great fun and loves to play. Super sweet guy who loves to go on long hikes and walks. Roo had some kind of accident as a puppy, he had breaks in both hind legs that healed uneventfully long before he ended up at a kill shelter. The shelter staff didn't notice anything but to cover our bases we sent him to a specialist for xrays and a consult because one back leg is minimally shorter than the other. He does not need any surgery, therapy etc. he runs around like a normal dog. He is ready for a forever home and is truly an awesome dog.
