My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Even as a tiny feral kitten I knew I wanted to live with people. I used to climb through the window of the house where the food came from and try to make myself at home. How can anyone say no to a sweet black and white tuxedo girl kitten? (I’m now one year old and still pretty kittenish.) I guess those people couldn’t keep me, but they connected me with a feral cat trapper who immediately recognized my people-loving ways and found me a foster home.

I get along well with other cats, and I’m a total self-starter for play. I just start playing with whatever I can find, and often a person or another cat will join in the fun. I’m sweet and very gentle—except at meal time, when I get soooo excited that sometimes I push others right out of their bowls for more food! I was thin when I first came indoors; now I’m just right. I may need your help not to become a butterball.

I’m still getting used to all of the sounds and activities that happen in a home. Sometimes I get startled, but I calm down fast and my curiosity takes over. I’d like to be in a quiet, predictable setting with a person or people and maybe one other cat—not too many! I want to curl up on your lap and share your bed, so I’ll be a wonderful pet for someone looking for a sweetheart.
