Missy is a beautiful big Papillon with a lot of love to give. Her favorite thing is getting a belly rub. She will cuddle up next to you and be happy for hours. Missy is seven years old, middle-aged for a Papillon, a long-lived breed who often live to 16, even 18. She weighs 17-20 pounds. She is a little overweight and is on a diet, but she will always be a big girl for a Papillon. She is laid back and undemanding. She gets along fine with other dogs but would probably like the attention an only dog gets. She is quiet but will bark if another dog in the house barks, another reason why she would be best as an only dog. She will chase a moving cat, without malicious intention. She will lie on the same bed with a sleeping cat with no problem. She is spayed and up-to-date on shots. She is housebroken only if she is taken on regular walks every day. For some reason she does not like to go in her foster mom’s yard but it may be the number of dogs she goes out with are inhibiting her. She would make a good apartment or townhouse dog.
