My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BUDDY is a 6-year-old neutered male yellow lab. Buddy weighs 75 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

DESCRIPTION Buddy is a delightfully sweet chunk of vanilla goodness! He is a sweet and happy boy who will make you smile and bring you joy every day. He is house trained and doesn't need or want to be crated, but prefers his humans home with him more than not. Buddy knows several commands such as sit, down, no, come, and stay. He rides great in the car. He loves to run and play in a fenced yard and has pretty good leash skills. Buddy loves humans and other dogs and enjoys snuggling with both! He makes friends and charms everyone he meets. He is used to having another dog around and must go to a home with another dog for companionship. He is not good with small dogs, cats, or other small mammals.

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. Lab Rescue LRCP rescues and places dogs in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and northeast North Carolina (30 miles east of I-95 and north of the Pamlico Sound.) Adopters must travel to Maryland, or Virginia with their family - human and canine - to meet the dog they want to adopt.

Lab Rescue LRCP has between 40 - 80 dogs available for adoption from foster homes across Maryland and Virginia, and at monthly adoption events. The adoption event dates and locations are listed at www.lab-rescue.org.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. After you submit an application, you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a home visit is required.
