My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coco is a bundle of joy that has a good bit of energy. She loves to play fetch and keep away but also really does love just spending time in a bed or on couch and having her tummy rubbed. Her arch nemesis would be anything that squeaks and she will look for a squeaker for days. She has a favorite squeaking ball that is also like her pacifier that she loves to carry around everywhere and play with. She loves paper towel tubes, and wants to please people very badly. She has mastered Sit for treats, and is learning how to properly stay on the floor (though with her small size there isnt much she can reach). She would do wonderfully for anyone that enjoys walks, running, or is just looking for motivation to get moving.

Coco does not get along with other dogs or animals because of her history and is looking for her second chance in a loving home. She has been in foster care for over a year because of these facts plus her being a pit mix and being black. She just wants a home to give her a chance. She does need someone that is patient (willing to try at least a week with her) and understanding that she needs time to come out of her shell and adapt as much as they may to having a dog. Because of this history, Coco needs to be an ONLY PET.

Coco would do well with middle to older children, as she does like to give hugs. She is very gentle and loving once she gets to know people, but can be shy at first. Again, she needs someone that will be patient and understanding that she will need time to adjust.

she is UTD and ready for a home !Please call 952 855-6495 to meet coco.
