Spencer is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so he is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.

Spencer is an adorable little dog that was saved from a small town, fast kill dog pound. We think he is a long haired chihuahua, without the typical chihuahua personality. Although there may be something else in the mix. He is around 6 months old and weighs around 8 pounds. Spencer is very sweet, gentle and loving. He is friendly and outgoing and will jump in your lap and give you kisses every chance he gets. Spencer loves running around the house and playing with toys and other gentle dogs. He likes to chase his tail and spins around in fast circles. Spencer is crate trained and uses puppy pads, but he also knows to go outside to potty. He is a good boy but could use more training. Spencer is very small and delicate. He must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that can hurt him. He must also be protected from outdoor predators and large raptors that would consider him dinner. Spencer must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.

Spencer is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms, and has been started on heartworm and flea preventative. Spencer has a $500.00 adoption fee which includes ground transport to Strasburg VA or Hagerstown MD.
