If you are interested in RAIN or in adopting a pup in general, the first step is an adoption application. Download an adoption application

Please email the completed application to kerri.woofriver@gmail.com

Meet RAIN! This little blue-eyed beauty is such an amazing puppy. Like all puppies, she loves to frolic and play, whether it be with other pups or all by herself with her toys. It is so much fun watching her explore the new world around her, she approaches everything with such zest. She is also an exceptional snuggler and has an endless supply of puppy kisses. RAIN is lucky enough to share her foster home with an adult resident dog who is teaching her proper puppy manners and boy is she learning a lot. On top of being so cute and sweet, this little pup is really smart. As of 2/25, she is about 10 weeks old and is excelling in both her crate and potty training. RAIN will make a great addition to any family looking for a confident and loyal new family member.

Her local adoption fee is $290.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and our own private transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
