Meet Sammy!
Hard to believe but this adorable, loving, purebred Yorkie was a stray! Found running on the streets of Fresno, after looking and posting everywhere, including the shelter, this little guy was never claimed! He was as skinny as a toothpick but loving and friendly and playful!
His name is Sammy and he weighs in at about 7 pounds and still needs to put on another pound or 2. He is VERY affectionate, great with other dogs and cats as well as being a great dog with kids.
He has a beautiful, hypoallergenic, non-shedding coat which we had to shave down due to the excessive mattes that went down to his skin. But it is an amazing shade of chestnut, silver and black.
We are estimating his age to be between 18 months to 2 1/2 years as he has lots of joyful puppy energy. He is great in a car and really loves to cuddle.
His adoption fee includes his neuter, current vaccinations, teeth cleaning, microchip, deworming, harness and leash. An adoption fee does apply.
As we pre-screen via email please tell us a bit about you such as your lifestyle, work schedule, activity level, area you live in, house or apartment, how many adults, children and pets in the home, where your pet stays when you are at work or out and where your pet will sleep.
Please note that as a Yorkie he will need to be groomed about every 6 weeks to keep from ever getting matted again.
