My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Tango (HWTH#19033A). She is a Maltese, DOB: 10/10/15. Tango weighs 13 pounds and stands 11 inches at the shoulders. Halfway to Home was asked by another rescue to take charge of Tango and another Maltese named Pepper that they had gotten from a breeder. Tango has been spayed and is ready for immediate adoption. Since she was used as a breed dog, it is unclear how much socialization she has had. Tango is a very sweet dog, likes to be held and appears to have a mellow personality but probably will be more active when she is comfortable in her new Forever home. She may want to be your lap dog and bed buddy if you so choose. The love, good-quality human companionship, structure, playtime, regular daily exercise and some training she receives will help her transition into her new life as a pet and be able to experience the bond between a dog and a human. When Tango is thoroughly settled in her new home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training, other obedience commands and the bonding process.
