Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Greta –
We would like to introduce you to a young and energetic pup named Greta.
Greta loves the outdoors and would be more than willing to become your walking or running companion. And given that her breed is known for endurance – we can envision her becoming a cyclist’s best buddy. Our best guess is Greta is a plott hound pointer mix.
Can’t walk or run everyday - no problem – a well secured yard where she can run and play will also make her happy.
While indoors – she is no couch potato. She will occupy her time by playing with a few sturdy toys and it is not unusual for her to spend 15-20 minutes chewing on a nyla-bone a few times a day. She is crate trained and once she tires herself out – she will lie quietly for a nap.
Greta would be best in a home with an owner that will challenge her abilities. Another dog in the home with a similar energy level would be a plus but not required.
A home with older children who are dog savvy would be best for Greta.
If you would like to meet Greta, please submit an online application at folas.org. Any questions should be addressed to folasinfo@gmail.com. Our dog coordinator will get back to you shortly.
Meet and greets are set up with approved applicants only!
