My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This poor little girl had a bit of a “ruff start.” She was the constant companion of an elderly woman who did not know how to care for Molly’s beautiful coat and her only playmates were oodles of cats. Unbeknownst to family or friends, Molly’s owner passed away leaving Molly and the kitties alone for 8 days before being rescued by Yucaipa police and animal control. This was a tragic event for all involved but thankfully Molly fell into the hands of a wonderful woman who scooped her up from the shelter and provided Molly with a loving environment and spa day while searching for the perfect placement for her.

When a local vet’s office contacted us about Molly, we immediately said yes! Initially she was understandably timid and shy and really didn’t have any manners. After a few short weeks in our program, she has flourished into a very sweet and loving little girl who loves playing with other dogs and her toys and certainly enjoys the company and the comfort of loving hands and a warm lap.

Molly would do great in a home with another dog, or would enjoy soaking up all your love and attention if she is the only dog. She is a bit shy initially, and would do well with children greater than 10 years old. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but quickly relaxes and enjoys human companionship. We’d love for you to meet Molly as we’re sure you’ll love her as much as we do!
