My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gus was sitting quietly in a kennel at the county shelter for about 2 weeks before we found one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet! Gus apparently was found wondering around town during a rainy afternoon before animal control picked him up. He unfortunately lost his way back home and his family never came to pick him up. Lucky for us, as he’s one of our all-time Super Stars!

Gus LOVES spending time with his trainers and the other dogs in our training program. He’s happy to engage in a game of chase or fetch but also thrives being a well-loved couch potato. Unlike most super active terriers, Gus is very well balanced and knows how to relax and enjoy himself. He is extremely smart and loves learning new commands and tricks. All you need to do is show him what you want and he’s happy to comply, with a little practice.

Gus is a great little dog and would be perfect for a family looking for their first dog as he loves everyone he meets. His coat is easy to keep clean and he thoroughly enjoys having a bath.
