WHY IS THIS DOG IN NEED??- This Pet has been taken in as a stray that was left unclaimed in the shelter.
WHERE IS THIS DOG NOW ?- This pet is currently located in goderich area
**ALL ABOUT BENEDICT **
- breed experienced owner
-fenced yard
-teen/ adult home
-an existing buddy in the home would be nice for him.
Benedict came in as a stray. He lives with cats and 2 dogs. He is incredible with all.
He came in with some clear old injuries on his leg and his neck that were healing so clearly has had some bad experiences at the hands of a human.
He has had to have his "happy tail" removed due to chronic damage.
He is learning about home life.
He likes going for walks and to access a local park to exercise, socialize with his friends.
He is a soft boy that would benefit from someone to give him the time to learn who people are, have his space respected, as can be uncertain of fast , rude/ invasive approaches and will grumble . He is not aggressive. He needs a home that can show him that any hands on interaction is a good thing.
He does well with visitors at his home that give him space , and allow him to engage
He loves his food, treats and has no issues with handling once he knows who you are and has built trust.
To be considered for a viewing, an an application must be filled out and sent in before approval of viewing . Applications can be accessed at www.adoptapet.lucknow.on.ca under the "adopt/ foster/ surrender tab ".
