Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi I’m Uno. I am 2 years old and I have the cutest smile & ears. I was found alone in an apartment and I was very thin & hungry. I was so weak that my foster dad carried me out. The doctor said other than malnutrition I was still pretty healthy. Since then I have been eating lots of yummy healthy stuff and I’ve gained 15lbs. I’m a survivor. I like to run and play with my foster brother Pharaoh (Pittie) and I’ll even play with my foster brother King (Shih Tzu) when he wants to play. I am very active and will do great in a yard where I can burn off some energy. I’m not a picky eater at all but I’m finding that I like peanut butter treats. I’m pretty smart and I’m learning to sit & wait at the door when it’s time to come in or go out.
From her foster 12/30/2019:
She’s a sweet girl. She loves to play with her brothers King (Shih Tzu) & Pharaoh (Pittie). She is very smart, she wakes me up every morning when it time for her to go outside. She loves her toys & blankets and looking out of the window. She is a ball of energy. She knows “sit” & “down” and she loves kisses. She is kid friendly but she doesn’t know her strength. Friendly with all sized dogs, we haven’t interacted with cats but if she sees a cat or squirrel on a walk they catch her attention.
ABOUT PEACE 4 PITS RESCUE:
Please note that we do not have a facility or shelter where you can view adoptables. We are a foster-based rescue in Chicago-land, which means that each dog is placed with a family in the area. This allows us to better understand each dog's individual personalities.
You must complete an application before you can schedule a meet and greet with each animal. The application can be found here: http://peaceforpits.org/adoptionfoster-application/ or if you prefer a Word version, download it here: https://goo.gl/bKo84P and email it to p4papplications@gmail.com. Our adoption fee is typically $300 for an adult dog, and $350 for a dog under one year. It includes all vetting and spay/neuter.
