Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Toby. He came from Bartow County animal control, GA. He's a shepherd mix so he is high energy. It's nothing that plenty of exercise can't calm down. Toby is about a year old, still a pup!
This boy is amazing and so handsome. He's still learning what to do with toys, he doesn't quite get the whole fetch game, but He loves tug of war. He's great with kids, my kids absolutely love him! He's gentle with them like he knows he's just supposed to be. He loves all of the attention. All of it. He can be a bit jealous of his foster brother and sisters but he's working on it and starting to do much better. He is doing better with his foster cats brothers and sister but still needs some work, he has improved alot, its much easier to get his attention off of them now. The more we've worked with him there's been so much improvement. Our walks have also improved with the help of a harness instead of a collar lead, and he loves the walks. Even does great walking with his foster siblings. He's crate trained (he hasn't went potty in his crate) but at first going in it wasn't his favorite thing to do. With some treat motivation he has also improved with that, bedtime he's learned that is where he goes, even when we leave the house with a small treat encouragement he has no problem. He sits on command and he does shake but he's more prone to that when the other fur kids aren't around lol. Hes a little nosy. He would do great as an only pet, only because he does love the attention. He'd also do great in a family with other pets as long as hes shown plenty of love and time with you.
He's been an awesome foster baby for us. I believe he's perfect and being a baby still, he learns fast and wants to please. You can't help but to fall absolutely in love with this face and those big eyes looking at you with such love and loyalty!!
All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy.
