Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We believe Smoke to be a Maine Coon mix. He is a large, long-haired old man. He is also polydactyl (he has thumbs)!
Poor Smoke was in pretty rough shape when he was rescued and went into foster. He was missing most of his fur from a severe flea infestation and flea allergy. Both of his ears were infected and he had a low-grade fever. One of his front legs was painful and swollen from a sprain, and both of his top canine teeth are broken off. Despite looking pretty terrible, and probably feeling even worse than he looked, Smoke remained in good spirits, being calm and affectionate. He is now fully recovered.
Smoke says:
"My name is Smoke and I'm a senior. Catitude is everything. I like kisses, long naps in my very own orthopedic bed and sunning myself on the window perch. I'm a real foody and try to help my foster Mom in the kitchen. Grandma even sneaks me treats. I live with 2 canines and have taught them the proper way to beg. I also live with lots of felines who sometimes get on my nerves. I have a fondness for the younger felines and play with them from time to time. Let's not forget about my luxurious fur that I love to have brushed. I'm looking for a forever home where I can get lots of attention and snuggle at night."
