My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Squirrel came from an animal control abuse case. Her legs were paralized and she was attached by big dogs. She many other animals were left outside to die. Many did, but she and 4 other dachshund made it safely out to foster care. Her mother a French Bull dog was not so lucky. It was an awful place. She has had surgery on her eyes and has been in foster care for months recovery from all the trauma. She can now run and play and loves to chase squirrels. That's how she got her name. She is ready to find that warm and caring home. She wants a fenced in back yard and another small dog family. She is great with kids.
