Meet Tito! He is about 2.5 years old, 10 inches tall and 12 lbs. Tito is a sweet and mellow dog. And he is so darn cute, people will stop you in the street to tell you!
Initially shy, once he warms up to you, he will win your heart with his big brown eyes and sweet and easy personality. This handsome fellow is quiet, doesn’t beg, except to be on your lap sometimes. He isn’t a velcro dog, but he does always want to check in with you.
Tito is good on a leash and loves to ride in the car. His favorite actives are napping, walks and hikes, and cuddles. The second you approach him, he will roll over for belly rubs too. He is completely house trained. He has not shown aggression toward cats, but he does have a strong prey drive so we don’t recommend cat households. He gets along with other dogs large and small but is mostly dog-neutral. He does not seem to have any problem around kids but tends to engage his own pack. Unless they have treats. *wink*
In the morning, he will greet you with a snuggle and then sleep some more right by your side. Even though this shy guy is a couch potato, he is always excited to join you wherever you want to go, even if it’s a long walk or hike.
When you come back home, Tito would love to jump on your lap for a nap or chill in the corner with one of his favorite chews. This cuddly cutie would be a great addition for a family or individual looking for an affectionate but calm dog to join their family. Tito is a social dog and wouldn't do well left alone for a full workday. If you work a full workday he has to have a canine companion.
Tito’s adoption fee is $275 and he is being fostered in Oakland, CA.
All our dogs are in private foster homes and arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received.
