Chowder and Gumbo are a sweet pair of young adult brothers who would love to become apart of your family. Both boys are neutered and are tan, black and white, but Gumbo has a white stripe on his nose. The boys were born the first week of July 2018. They are a little skittish when being picked up but they are gradually getting more comfortable with it. They love snuggling and having their noses rubbed.
Chowder and Gumbo were two of three babies and mom the Rescue pulled from a local shelter because they were going to be euthanized. They were healthy but all pregnant piggies and their babies are euthanized at the shelter. The two boys were separated from their mom shortly after arriving at Small Angels and have been a bonded pair ever since then.
The boys love fruit and vegetable treats and like to hide in their hay. They both have an excellent appetite for Oxbow pellets and Timothy hay. Chowder and Gumbo need to live in a Rescue-required Cubes and Coroplast cage of at least 2 cubes by 4 cubes located in a room the family spends time in so everyone can enjoy their company. They don't mind dogs or cats around their home and they often try to sniff their visitors through their cage.
The adoption fee for Chowder and Gumbo is $90 (neutered male - $45/each). Are you interested in finding out more about adopting this lovable pair?
