Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Misty! We rescued this gorgeous black and tan three year old from Humane Indiana. Misty is a very friendly and affectionate dog. She really loves to cuddle and has no concept of personal space, your lap will be her favorite place to be. She would do best in a home where she gets a nice long walk once a day and with someone who is confident around German Shepherds and not afraid to set boundaries. She will walk all over a less confident human. Misty has been around several children ages 10 and up and did very well with them. She gets excited when they come home from school and showers them with kisses. We think she will do fine with children who are steady on their feet. Misty gets along well with other dogs that are 50 pounds and up, but will try to be the dominant dog and center of attention. She has actually done better with the more confident females in her fosterhome because they won't put up with her bossy behavior. Misty does need a home with no cats, small dogs (under 50 pounds) or small mammals. Misty can be leash and barrier reactive but is working on this behavior. Off leash, she does much better meeting new fur-friends. If you are looking for a buddy to drive around with, Misty is your gal, provided you stop for a puppaccino. She has done spectacular meeting new people and is eager to please. Misty is housebroken, current on vaccines, spayed and micro-chipped. She is on a daily medication for anxiety (that works great for her), it costs around $20 for a 90 day supply. She will also need to be on heartworm preventative year round, not just spring through fall.
