Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Dolly is an 8 year old Wire Fox Terrier mix who finds herself looking for a new home after her owner passed away with no family available to take her.
Dolly is a spunky girl who likes to play with her toys and doggy friends. She loves to play outside, is good on a leash, and sleeps in a crate at night.
Dolly came to the rescue with her pal, Brick. We hope to find a home that will adopt them together (they've already lost their owner, we'd hate to see them lose each other, too). The owner's family is sponsoring the adoption fee to try to keep these two together.
Dolly is 19 lbs., spayed, microchipped, and up to date on shots. She has had a dental and full blood work (she is negative for heartworm and all tick-borne illnesses, including Lyme). She spent a lot of time inside so was used to using pee pads, but definitely prefers to go outside to do her business. She will scratch at the door when she needs to go outside.
To submit an adoption application, visit our website at http://www.baystatedogs.com/adopt.html (you can fill out the online application or submit the Word version - whichever you prefer). An application, phone interview, vet reference (if applicable), home visit, and contract are required are part of the adoption process.
