There is 3 videos of Link on our facebook page of what she looked like when we got her. One of the ladies in the group works at a vets clinic and one Friday afternoon and lady came in talking about having a dog on a chain that was her daughters and she could see flesh. She did not want to get into any trouble because of it. We got her to sign the dog over to us so we could give her medical treatment. When she brought her in she had this huge thick heavy chain around her that was looped around her neck and in her flesh, the smell was terrible. We sedated her and got that nasty chain off and then shaved her neck and cleaned her up. It was terrible and if it had have been summer time would have had maggots coming it out it.

We were not given a name when they left her so we decided on calling her Link. When she came around after removing that chain she was so happy. This poor dog had only ever known a chain. She is about 2 years old and is now finally having a life she should have had. She is full of energy and having another dog would help with that and a fenced in yard. She is fully vetted, heartworm negative, microchipped and on monthly prevention. She has healed up and you would never know what she had to go through. We believe she is a Lab/Collie mix. There is no stranger to this sweet girl.
