Ruby needs a home!

Ruby is a Norwegian Elkhound. She lived with her owner and a group of other dogs. Ruby’s owner died and the family didn’t want to take care of the dogs. They let the dogs loose to roam and they were starving.

A local rescue stepped in to help the dogs. Four Paws Elkhound Rescue is working with the local rescue to find Ruby a home. Ruby is currently in a foster home.

Ruby is a sweet girl. The picture on the left is Ruby when she was on her own. The picture on the right is when she got to her foster home and was bathed and groomed. Ruby is located in southwestern West Virginia. Transport help is available.
