My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poppy is a 5 year old chihuahua mix rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. Poppy is lively and active and not much of a barker. He likes other dogs and enjoys going outside in the nicer weather and getting treats. We don't know if Poppy lived in a home before, but he is doing quite well in foster care. We suggest for any potential adopters be willing to crate train this little man and we are confident he can learn with some routine and care.
Poppy is neutered and up to date with all shots. He is under 10 lbs and is current with all vaccinations for a year.

We love to hear from you, but please understand we are a tiny rescue with about 3 volunteers. We don't have time to call or set up meet and greets until you are approved. If you email us about your home, that is lovely, but we are just going to tell you to fill out an application. If you serious about adopting, fill out the application.
