My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Jojo. I was brought to the shelter because I did not get along with my siblings. I spent my whole life on a chain before I arrived at ARL, this may have something to do with my attitude towards other dogs. I am very nervous around other dogs, but I promise I am good at cuddling and playing with humans. I love when volunteers come to the shelter to walk me and play with me. I don't love meeting new dogs, but I love all humans! There have been times when I have snapped at people. I don't know why I do this but it is probably because I have so much energy that I can't burn off living my life fenced in. If you give me a chance I know I can make a great pet!! I just need someone to be patient with me because of my troubled past! Oh and I would also love to go to a home that has lots of land for me to run!

Because of Jojo specific breed traits he needs to go to a home that is experienced with the breed. He would also need to be in a single dog home as he does show aggression towards other dogs. Jojo plays with volunteers every Saturday and does very well. He often has kids in his kennel ranging from 12-18 however he should not be around very small children. He is a very sweet boy and deserves a chance to make the right family happy!
