Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*DUSKY'S ADOPTION FEE IS SPONSORED!*
Dusky came into our care when her owners moved away and left her outside to fend for herself. She is also deaf.
What Dusky's foster has to say about her:
"Dusky-completely deaf, very loving. Needs a home where she is the only animal. She stresses a lot being around other animals. She doesn't attack them, she just screams very loudly when any animal approaches her while trying to let her know they are not a threat. However she is very loving, loves to cuddle. She snuggles with my son in his bed at night.
She has a very thick coat. It curls on her belly. She absolutely loves to be brushed, but she doesn't like it much when you brush belly because it's so thick. She sits still and does very well when I trim her nails, and she also isn't horrible when bathed if the water is perfect temp.
Dusky would be perfect for an older person or an elderly couple. She isn't high maintenance at all. She eats very well, drinks a lot of water and is litter trained."
We listed her as "not good with kids," but older, respectful children would be fine.
