My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in MAGNOLIA or in adopting a pup in general, the first step is an adoption application. Download an adoption application here
Please email the completed application to sarahbeth.woofriver@gmail.com
Please submit an application rather than an inquiry with no application attached.

Meet MAGNOLIA! This little bundle of joy is super smart and loves to learn. She is a fantastic mix of playful and laid back. She is kind, gentle for a puppy, and adores other dogs! She takes direction from adult dogs like a champ which will help her fit well into most any pack. She is quite good at entertaining herself with toys. She has an endearing nature that will constantly make you smile.
MAGNOLIA is an affectionate inquisitive girl who is going to make countless years of happy memories with her lucky forever family!

Since MAGNOLIA likes to follow the lead of other pups in new situations, we feel she would be happiest in a home with a least one other doggy friend.
If you don't currently have another dog at home, we suggest considering one of our other puppies or dogs. The other option for adding MAGNOLIA to a family without a resident pup would be adopting 2 dogs at the same time.

MAGNOLIA will be microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccines when she arrives to her forever family.
Her $490 adoption fee includes her interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the Midwest after she is officially adopted.

Please email the completed application to sarahbeth.woofriver@gmail.com. It typically takes us around 5 BUSINESS DAYS to process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed. Thank you in advance for your patience.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and our own private transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
