Meet Gunther!

Hi! I’m super happy to meet you…of course I’m super happy to meet everyone! My name is Gunther and I am a happy, healthy little guy looking for his forever family. Don’t let my cherry eye fool you – my friends at the rescue say that will be fixed when I’m neutered and I’ll be the handsomest boy you’ve ever seen. I live with my sister (Maybel), foster parents, and their 3 dogs and 2 cats. I get along great with everyone in the house and the neighborhood children. In fact, my foster parents are a little behind in my leash training because everyone comes out of their houses for love during my walks! I’m always up for an adventure. I’m inquisitive, fearless, smart, and love to explore. I’m the kinda guy that would be a great running or hiking buddy in the future. I’m working on learning good manners, including outside potty time and basic commands. I would definitely need a family that could help me in those areas. Right now I let my foster parents sleep through the night, but I wake up bright and early for potty breaks – no need for an alarm clock! I would love a family with a companion dog – I really love being with others and play hard. My foster mom tells me I have high puppy energy, but am still able to focus and concentrate on what she needs me to do. She says I’ll be great to train and am highly food motivated.
