Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shadow might just be the happiest dog we have ever come across. She is so overjoyed with life that her wiggling stub has never been able to be photographed without appearing as a blur. This confident girl came to us from a county shelter after her human dad passed away. Shadow is clearly taking her recent life change in stride! As her foster dad put it "I would like to think that my dogs might be a little sad if they were separated from me." Nope! This outgoing 2 yr old girl is ready for anything life throws at her. She is smart as a whip and has mastered the basics such as: sit, stay, down, touch, bed, etc within the first couple of weeks she was in her foster home. She is a joy in the house but needs to be provided with structure. She's a bright girl and if bending a rule works to her favor, you will bet she'll try it! She is not above grabbing food off of counters if it's there for the taking. Shadow is a little toy and ball crazy and tends to lose some of her bite inhibition if she is in the midst of a rousing game of fetch. She can be mouthy and has shown that she will nip/pinch at hands if the toy doesn't get thrown quickly enough for her. For this reason she is not a good match for a home with small children. Shadow has absolutely zero ill intent, but better safe than sorry. Shadow has earned her name and proves to be a true "human shadow". Her focus is second to none and she is a joy to train! With her intense focus, drive, and high intelligence, we think she will make a wonderful performance dog! Although she has lived with male dogs of varying ages in her foster home, she tends to be bossy and is not a good match with other females.
