Kerble
This confident, out-going boy was born in November 2014 and lost his home to a family break up. He is friendly with everybody, affectionate, curious, and moderately active. He'll introduce himself to strangers and let them pet him right away. He shows special interest in males.
He enjoys interactive toys and plays by himself with a variety of cat toys. Kerble enjoys being perched in front of the window to watch what is going on. He will occasionally sit in your lap, but his mom cat, Twitter, gets there before him, so he lays next to you. He tolerates being picked up and carried in baby position, as long as you are walking around.
He adores brushing and likes petting. He'll usually starts purring as soon as you brush him. He flips over for what appears to be wanting tummy stroking. He will take one or two tummy strokes with a brush or your hand and want no more (he'll grab either to stop you).
Kerble is used to kids age 8 and up and can tolerate a bit more commotion than his mom cat, Twitter.
In his past home he lived with kids and a dog, of which he tolerated.
He likes scratching posts, cat trees, and faithfully uses his litter box.
Kerble is quiet until it is meal time; then he jabbers telling you to hurry up so he can inhale his food. In his past home he used to sleep part of the night with the adults.
Kerble and his mom, Twitter, have been together all their lives and are bonded. Two cats are just as easy, maybe easier to care for, than one cat. They entertain each other and keep each other company while you are busy or at work. They will be adopted together. Adoption fee: $199. for the pair.
This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fee is $199 for the pair. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492.
Cat Tales rescue is a volunteer run non-profit, 100% of adoption fees and donations help the abandoned cats.
