Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Paris! Paris is a beautiful, sweet Blue Heeler Mix. Her history is not clear to us, but we do know that she was not properly socialized as a young dog, and as a result, she is very shy when it comes to people. However, the more we work with her, the more we are seeing progress. She does well on a leash and seems to enjoy exploring. Paris will likely do better in a home with another, more confident dog. Due to her fear of people, she is also considered a flight-risk, so she will want a secure, fenced yard so that she can explore the outdoors safely. Paris is pretty new to the shelter, so we are still getting to know her, but we are seeing her come out of her shell more and more each day. If you would like to give this girl the loving home that she deserves, come and meet her today!
We cannot confirm that dogs who come from the shelter will be house trained.
Most adoptable dogs will need some reintroduction into a home, potty training, basic manners and social skills.
Please be prepared to provide the training and dedication that will be needed.
We do not have any way of knowing if a dog or cat will do well with all children or all other animals.
*** This is why it is important that we introduce everyone in the home to the new pet. Please plan to have the whole family come visit.
*** We also require that any family dogs come into meet your potential adoptee. Please be sure your dogs are spayed or neutered and current on vaccines (distemper - parvo and rabies) before bringing them to the shelter.
*** All dogs must be transported home in a travel crate to transport your new pup home safely.
*** Renters must provide a copy of a lease indicating pets are allowed or contact information for the landlord.
If you are interested in meeting or adopting one of our pets or have questions about the process please see our website at www.adoptmountainpets.org or call the Shelter between 11:00 am and 5:45 pm Tuesday through Saturday. 970 626 2273
