My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Cesar, I am a 5 yr old Golden Retriever/Lab mix, I am smaller weighing around 45-50 lbs and very handsome and soft. I am very well behaved, smart, sweet, gentle and house trained. I have quickly figured out that ringing the bell hanging on my foster’s door will get me outside, I love to be outside! I also know the commands sit, come and stay, especially if a treat is involved, I will even give you my paw.
My energy level is medium. I never get into anything or chew, although I do like chewing on some of the squeaky toys in my bin and running after balls with my foster’s grandchildren. I love to go walking/running or hiking, My foster Mom and her 15 yr old grandson say I’m GREAT on the leash! I would just love, love to finally have my own home with a forever family. Other dogs are ok, I get along with them, but I would much rather have my humans to myself. I love to lay by their side on couch/bed without the competition. You see, I came from a home with five dogs and was crated most of the time - my previous owner was trying to do what he thought was best - but there were just too many of us.
I was crated often and alot in my earlier years so I get a little anxious when I’m in there, but I am very well behaved loose in the house. Please consider me as your forever companion, I will love you forever!
