My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Keeley is a 8-9 year old Norwegian Elkhound mix (maybe mixed with some sort of Shepherd?) who was given up by her owner who was moving out of the country. She is a sweet girl with a gentle demeanor who enjoys going for walks (she is super good on a leash - no pulling), playing with toys, and exploring outside. Keeley also loves belly rubs and scratching her own back on the carpet - she loves that! She loves going for rides in the car and is the perfect passenger.

Keeley is an all-around great dog with a surprisingly soft coat who is good with children (she has lived with kids as young as 5 years), other dogs, and cats. She is not much of a barker, and adapted quickly to the routine in her foster home. The family who adopts Keeley will get a loyal, loving friend and companion.

Keeley is about 60 lbs (maybe could lose 5 pounds or so), healthy, spayed, and up to date on shots.

If you are interested in Keeley, who is being fostered in the Lowell area, please submit an adoption application, which you can get from our website at http://www.baystatedogs.com/adopt.html (you can fill out the online application or submit the Word version - whichever you prefer).

The adoption process includes an application, phone interview, vet reference (if applicable), home visit, contract, and adoption fee.
