My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"EMBER" is a GORGEOUS, super affectionate, 2 yr old, 50 lb., Labrador Retriever female we rescued from a very high kill pound. This girl is a love bug ! Exceptionally happy, sweet, silly, funny, smart & loving girl, she likes nothing more than to cuddle up next to you. Her best friend is "Cramer" [a slighly younger, male black Lab], and they gently play, lick & kiss each other. We'd love to see Ember & Cramer be adopted together, but if not possible, Ember would do best in a home with a kind, submissive younger male dog. Ember has not been cat or kid tested, but we recommend a family with slightly older children.
Ember has been spayed, micro-chipped, de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
