My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"CRAMER" is an incredibly adorable 1 to 1.5 yr old, 50 lb., Labrador Retriever male we rescued from a very high kill pound. A sweet, silly, happy, funny, smart & loving boy, he can be a little shy at first, but then warms up wonderfully and likes to cuddle up next to you. His best friend is "Ember" [a slighly older female black Lab], and they gently play, lick & kiss each other. We'd love to see he & Ember be adopted together, but if not possible, Cramer would do best in a home with a kind, resident dog with greater confidence, to help Cramer mature emotionally. Cramer has not been cat or kid tested, but we recommend a family with slightly older children.
Cramer has been neutered, de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
