My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! My name is Paulo. I'm a 8-year-old neutered male Poodle Terrier mix. I weigh about 15 pounds. I'm microchipped and up to date on my vaccines, so I'm all ready to move into my forever home. I'm a super sweet, happy pup who's always ready to play. I love meeting new people and I get along well with other dogs to!

I arrived at the West LA pound as an stray in December. I had a family, but for some reason, they didn't register my microchip and never came looking for me. The vets at the pound noticed I had slight cloudiness in both of my eyes and a growth on one of my eye lids, I don't let it stop me or slow me down. I can still see and get around just fine.
After a couple of days at the pound, I was taken for surgery, they removed the growth with no issues. then I went back to my cage to rest and heal. I waited week after week and no one adopted me. I was sad but I kept my head high and then one faithful day the friendly folks at CageFree came and pulled me out of that scary shelter. The next thing I knew, I was on my freedom ride and at the rescue facility. They took me to a eye specialist and got some good news, My eyes don't look that bad and they just sent me home with some anti inflammatory drops.

I've made lots of friends since I arrived at CageFree, and I'm looking forward to finding my happily ever after with a loving family. I'm still a active dog with plenty of energy to spare, so I'm in search of an active family that will give me lots of attention and love. I'd love to explore the world with you!
