My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COPPER: dob: 12/30/2016-pb tri-colored Beagle @ 29 lean lbs-was rescued by a 'Good Sam' who knows that Howlin4Spirit will do all we can to find the perfect matching home/situation for him. Apparently, his past dad was a breeder of Boxers and Beagles who had had a stroke and could no longer care for them, and the wife had no interest in him/them. So, Pound-Bound, they were headed!

SUPER SWEET, friendly and loving, housebroken, crate-trained, healthy, walks well on leash, gets along great with other dogs and kids of all ages. Gentle disposition, easy-going, loves to be included in all family/outdoor activities. Wants to please and be an integral part of the family pack.

UPDATE: Apparently, Copper has been blind since birth, but is fully functional and relies on all his other senses to a point that Howlin4Spirit didn't realize this fact until we asked our vet to check out his black eyes while being checked out for a health certificate...he plays, hunts, wrestles with other dogs and puppies, knows his own crate and never gave us any indication that he was sightless, until this 2nd vet exam....we had never seen such odd-looking eyes like his before. He gives you no indication that it hinders him at all. Just needs to be kept safe inside a fenced-in yard or on a leash, NEVER loose. Fenced yard REQUIRED. NO ELECTRIC FENCES!

Adoption fee: $195(includes neuter, micro-chip, all 1yr vax-Rabies, Bordatella, Parvo/Distemper & Lepto, parasite-free, current on monthly heart-worm and flea/tick prevention, 3lb bag of curRent dry food-Tractor Supply '4health' salmon & potato, beef knee cap bone, chew toy, new nylon Martingale collar and matching 6' leash).
