Thanks for your cooperation!*** WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet.
Mas 8.7 lbs, female, possibly a Jack Russell mix, 5.5 months old, just spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm negative, dewormed.
The oh so stinking adorable & lovely Mas & her 3 other puppy friends have the most awful & deadly start to life in Changwon Korea in an extremely over crowded shelter where the smell of death is in the air constantly & the fear because puppies & dogs are put to sleep weekly just for space alone. These precious little souls needed out of that shelter badly so we wanted to help change their lives.
Mas were rescued by the amazing Korean rescue along with 3 sweet other puppies at the same time & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Korean rescue & we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank you enough.
Mas was bought back to the USA along with 3 other sweet innocent puppies from the same horrible kill shelter & all 4 of them are now US citizens. Straight away we could see Mas was thin & she really needed to put on weight which her foster mum in CA had been working on.
Sweet Mas is now in snowy WA & ready for her new loving forever home.
Mas’s foster mum said she is oh so sweet & loving & cuddly but she is a little shy & nervous at first until she knows you & trusts you & loves to eat. Someone in Korea has taught Mas to high 5 & she is oh so proud of herself for doing it. Mas is still a puppy & needs work being a puppy but she is an absolute love, so easy going & loves to sleep in bed with you or with her foster friends.
Mas needs another little dog or dogs to play with & snuggle as she loves the companionship of other dogs. She is a puppy who is full of life, love & energy. She absolutely adores the other female puppies she came with, it could be lovely if we could find her a home together with one of the other little ladies she came with. (Chris & Merry)
Mas really does enjoy a great outfit & just wants to be loved as she should be.
Mas has been around many breeds of dogs & she is currently fostered with foster siblings so she must go to a forever home with other dogs present in the home who are playful & love to play & snuggle.
Mas is is roughly 8.7 lbs & 5.5 months old & maybe a Jack Russell mix & still needs to put on weight & she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her shots, heart worm negative & dewormed.
Mas has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children.
We do not know for sure what breed Mas is mixed with & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is.
As with all of our rescues & Mas’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Mas potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond.
We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying.
Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Mas & going through the process and have read his listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Mas who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this adorable little fellow.
Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately.
Mas has an adoption fee of $750 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.
An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Adoption Process All of our dogs are in foster homes, so please fill out an application on our website to meet them in person: www.aberdeenstr.com. Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a 501(c)3 recognized charity. Our volunteers dedicate all their free hours to finding the best loving home for each of our dogs.
