Finleigh joined MOKAN at Christmas time. She wasn’t dealt the best of hands in life, as she was found thin, dirty, and wrapped tightly to a pole with no food or water. She is also missing her front teeth, but that doesn’t stop her from enjoying a good meal!
Finleigh has the sweetest disposition, and she is exceptionally calm for a border collie. She loves to snuggle and get treats, but she also very much loves going on walks and car rides. She is great with children (the foster has a 5 year old boy and 9 year old girl) and other dogs (she’s met many on walks and has been unphased), but she doesn’t quite find that she fits in well with cats. She will do best in a home that does not have cats. She was not potty trained when she came into the foster home, but she has made great progress with no accidents in the past week.
Finleigh is 35 pounds. She is around ten years old and kennel-trained. Even though she wasn’t given the best start at life, she is ready to finish her golden years enjoying unconditional love and cuddles. She very much enjoys her new life indoors without a chain, with meals to fill her belly and daily hugs.
Finleigh is currently fostered in Ozark, MO.
