My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable little chihuahua is approx 2 yrs and 7 lbs. The poor little guy we think was hit by a car and had a fractured distal femur. Our orthopedic surgeon placed 2 pins in this back leg and the fracture seems to have healed well. He runs and plays with his little buddies. He is a little timid and shy but warms up pretty quickly. He will run outside with his buddies to the yard and seems to be pretty well house trained but not perfect. He loves curling up in his doggie bed and does well on a harness. He has a sweet disposition and loves to be held and petted

OUR RESCUE POLICY: We require a home with children older than 10 years old and experienced dog owners only.

The total adoption fee of between $525 and $650 depending on the quarantine laws of the adopter or foster's state (primarily Massachusetts) and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care.
