Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***UPDATE*** A professional trainer determined that Peyton the Lab does have separation anxiety but that he also seems to be getting better. His owners love him, so right now they're trying out some new approaches recommended by the trainer. After that, they'll decide what the best thing is for him. When we know more, we'll update everyone on this page. Peyton, Lab mix, 3yrs, 70 lbs. Peyton is a typical energetic lab that needs a home with someone that is home most of the time and has the patience to work on his separation anxiety. This is a heart-wrenching condition that is usually caused by a traumatic experience in the dog’s past. His owners adopted him several months ago and had no idea he was suffering from this condition. Unfortunately, their situation doesn’t allow them to be able to work with him consistently. They are trying everything they can to help him. He is currently on medication to try to help ease his anxiety and panic attacks. He also will require lots of exercise, which will help his condition. Peyton will need to be the only dog in the household. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385
